A child care subsidy or allowance is available to help low income families in B.C. with the cost of child care:

- Families may be eligible for full or partial subsidy, depending on their circumstances and income
Yes, KiddoCare is licensed by Fraser Health Authority to provide Infant and Toddler Childcare services. Our premises have been inspected by the City Engineering and by the Fire Department and received permit for childcare operations.
All staff who work at KiddoCare have their criminal record check, First Aid/CPR training and certificate, Infant-Toddler ECE, ECE, or ECEA. All are expected and encouraged to continue their professional development on an ongoing basis. Our staff work together as a team and most of our staff have been with us for a long time. A high turn over in staffing is not what we want as the children need consistency with those who care for and play with them.
We also work with a number of post-secondary schools and provide practicum opportunities to students that work towards their Early Childcare Education certification.
We are generally open from 8:45am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday and we are flexible to accommodate special requests. This will help accommodate our parents who work longer hours and those who car pool or take public transportation. Upon request we also provide evening and weekend childcare.
While we have an open door policy, we would like to ask you as much as possible to call ahead and make an appointment. That way we can ensure you will get the best value out of your visit. It goes without saying that the safety of the children and our staff is paramount, please understand if our staff sometimes turn down unscheduled visits.
